I have been saving and wanting this wheelset for at least six months. It’s not the best or lightest, but it’s the best for the money. I have other Easton components on my bike, too, so I wanted to keep the theme. They are way lighter than my Mavic Cosmos at about 1575g, and have a 32mm rim and aero spokes for more aerodynamics. I was able to order them and receive them for my race on May 1st! Woo-hoo!
But what’s that? A nine speed cassette doesn’t fit on the hub? Only the Dura-Ace 10 speed cassettes fit…for $200 more? Oh, I would need to upgrade to a new 10 speed shift lever for $350?
Grrr………!!!
But! I can buy a SRAM hub that will fit a 9 speed cassette so that I can keep all the same compenents! All for about $40! Woo-hoo!! I can race White Lake with my sweeeeet wheels!!
Oh, but wait…back order? Six week deliver time?
Sniff….

Sometimes it’s better to laugh than cry.

Hi there. i have the same and i have a 10speed shimano Ultegra 6700. it fits ok now, but i have had problems, i could not put the small ring in the bottum, so it was not 100% fit. 2 days ago i put a small ring, so im waiting to see if it helped. But It seems that its more stiff now and fit.
But i dont understand why ONLY DURA ACE?
ultegra 6700 (11-23) should be the same..?

The bike mechanic at my local shop said it is because Shimano changed the hub to 10-spd dura ace only because they thought everyone would then have to upgrade and they would make more money. Now people hate Shimano for it. Including me.
